Upstate Law Firm Partners with Organization to Help Veterans in Need

Stoneman talks with Bill Brightman, the Veterans Advocate for the program Dogs For Vets, who began working with service dogs and Veterans after realizing that there was a need for alternative treatment methods for victims of PTSD, and John Hawkins, a fellow Veteran and the Founder and Owner of the Hawkins Law Firm has
recognized the great work Bill and his team are doing in the Veteran community.

Additionally, on April 22, the Hawkins Law Firm will be holding a “Dogs for Vets” event at The
Outpost training facility in Greenville, SC for members of the community to come out and support
Service Dogs for Veterans. Graduates from the SD4V.org program will be there with their service dogs to
speak about their journey with the organization. The event will be held at 120 Orders St. in Greenville,
SC and last from 10am-4pm. Greenville County Animal Care will be onsite with adoptable dogs as well as
food and drinks for everyone coming out. We hope to see you there.
